The Oman visa is an electronic travel authorization which travellers can obtain through an online application. Travelers to Oman can apply for an Oman visa to enter and travel Oman. The eVisa Oman system was provided to simplify the Oman visa application process, making it easier and faster for visitors to apply Oman Visa online.

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN OMAN VISA?

Those eligible to apply for an Oman e visa are required to complete the Online Oman visa application form by entering their personal information including their full name, date of birth, nationality, address, and passport number. The information provided must be accurate and applicants need to have a passport which is valid for at least six months from the arrival date.
The Oman online visa is a single-entry and multiple-entry visa which allows travelers to enter Oman for tourist purposes for a maximum stay of thirty (30) days. Visitors can use multiple-entry visa to enter Oman more than once. Once the validity period has passed, the eVisa becomes invalid and can no longer be used to enter Oman.
Once the applicant has submitted their Online Oman visa application, all eVisa notifications and updates are sent via email.

WHAT DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR THE OMAN E VISA?

2. A scan copy of the applicant's passport
3. Some nationalities require a copy of valid visa or residence permit for one of the following countries (United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan or Australia). These countries include Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

OMAN VISA ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible to apply for a Oman eVisa, applicants are required to be a citizen of one of the eligible countries listed above in dropdown. Permanent residents of GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE) can also obtain Oman visa online.
To complete the eVisa for Oman online application, candidates must have a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining from the date of arrival and a valid email address.
Those residing in GCC Countries may also be required to provide a scanned copy of their GCC residency document and scanned copy of GCC country Visa.

ARRIVING IN OMAN WITH AN EVISA

Once an Oman visa application has been approved, the eVisa is sent to the applicant by email. Upon arrival in Oman, eVisa holders are required to present their Oman eVisa and their passport to the border authorities. Travelers should keep a printed copy of their eVisa at all times during their stay.
GCC residents entering Oman with an eVisa may be asked to show their GCC residence document on arrival.
To apply for an eVisa for Oman please note that travellers with residency in the GCC countries (Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE) can apply for a visa regardless of their nationality. GCC countries residents required to provide a scanned copy of their GCC residency document and scanned copy of GCC country Visa with scanned copy of passport and photo graph.

OTHER NATIONALITIES WITH A RESIDENCY PERMIT FOR A GCC COUNTRY WHICH CAN APPLY FOR AN ONLINE TRAVEL VISA TO OMAN

Regardless of your nationality, if you reside in a GCC country, you are eligible to apply for a travel eVisa to Oman. You must hold a residency permit in order to be able to get your eVisa and it must be valid for at least 6 more months on the day of your arrival in Oman.
